From time to time in the wind turbine construction phase problems can arise with tower section flange hole alignment   This can be caused by many different factors , fault from factory (quality control) damage of flanges during transport, deformation from round due to extreme changes in temperature during transport across oceans to site locations, deviation in foundation bolts etc.

We have designed  two types of tower presses to overcome this problem. Our presses can be transported to site on our mobile workshop units and attached to the tower flange in situ  and the flange can be bought back to within tolerance   Our presses can be adapted to suit all size of tower flange. Woodstock welding has been successful in every tower section that we have pressed to date thus saving the client valuable time and the expense of replacing the tower section  We offer this service throughout Ireland,UK and Europe.
