This project required creative, problem-solving, this is where our workshop procedures come into their own. To resolve the issue on the jaw crusher, we designed and manufactured a bespoke extraction nut to safely remove the taper-lock sleeve. This allowed us to fit new bearings and polish the shaft, restoring the assembly to the required standard. With the outer assembly successfully removed, the rebuild could progress efficiently and without risk of damage to surrounding components.
